Set over the course of one night in contemporary New York City, Take Me Out paints a searing portrait of depression and dysphoria as it dominates a young man’s warped perception of reality.

Depression, anxiety and general disconnection from commonly thought and accepted reality has been something I’ve struggled with my entire life. Take Me Out was my breakthrough film in discovering the stories I want to tell, and in telling this story I hope to bring people closer to understanding the darker aspects of our inner selves and the nature of the human mind. Only by exploring our depths can we even begin in reconnecting with ourselves.
Life can make us really desperate and hopeless sometimes, but is often a nice reminder that for whoever is joined in the living, there is hope,
